The Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) has launched the 'Do Not Disturb' or 'DND' service, using which people can now stop the messages sent by telcos promoting their products and services.
Ironically, this service is not new but due to a lack of publicity and awareness, many people do not know about the DND service. So on Saturday, the commission started broadcasting the details of the service in the media.
To stop the promotional messages, users can dial Grameenphone *121*1101#, Banglalink *121*8*6#, Robi and Airtel *7#.
